TOC zoning district. Filed
by Chris Vallette for Greg Nelson Lamborghini,
COMMENTS OF ZONING INSPECTOR AND/OR CITY PLANNER: Based on the width of the building being 252 feet, this
business is permitted two 50 sq. ft. business signs. They are requesting 80 sq. ft. business
signs which would put their total signage over the 300 sq. ft. maximum for a
total of 413 sq. ft.
COMMENTS OF REQUESTER: Mr. Chris Vallette addressed the Board. He explained that Lamborghini has strict
guidelines, which don’t allow for typical signage that would be seen at the
road. It’s more the “Euro
look.” The Lamborghini symbol
itself has to be the biggest and most important part. For a road sign, they are allowing an
obelisk, which is the 8’ x 8’ x 20’ tall sign and is black. It only has an 18” x 18” sign on
it. It will glow and be
bright. Based on this, the building
must be made to hold the signage.
Intent is to get the most attention to the building with the signs from
Rt. 33 and
