(FYI.....Marks Reams comment)

I talked to Alan Seymour a little bit about this meeting last night.  We had quite a bit of discussion on the objectives or "tasks" that are recommended in our comprehensive plan.  This seemed like a good point for discussion between our committees.

When our comprehensive plan was first adopted, Carl Coe was president of Council and also served on the Public Affairs Committee.  He had the committee review all the short-term (and possibly mid-term) tasks and assign them.  For example, some might have been assigned to Council, the Administration, or Planning Commission.  This kind of fell off the radar after he left Council.  I think it would be good to have a review of the recommendations from our comprehensive plan and the suggested timelines (short-term, mid-term, and long-term).  We may also want to have a review of the status of the items that are still to be completed.
