MINUTES OF
MEETING OF NOVEMBER 4, 2004
CALL MEETING TO ORDER:
Mrs. Moots called the meeting to order at 12:07
p.m.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: October 7, 2004
Mrs. Nuspl made a motion to approve the minutes. Mr. Draughn seconded the motion. Voice vote was
unanimous.
CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS: None
AGENDA ITEMS:
1.
To consider a
request for a Certificate of Appropriateness to permit the change in building
color from tan to white, located at 116 &
Property owner was not present. Mrs. Moots asked about the
situation. Mrs. Penhorwood stated
to her knowledge, Mrs. Adams sold the building to Rylee LTD. She
stated she sent a letter to Rylee LTD letting them
know of the situation with the building and that they needed to be present for
the meeting.
Mrs.
Moots decided to proceed with the meeting.
Mrs. Nuspl stated part of the problem is we don’t know the exact color
that the building was before; it would be hard to tell them they have to change
it back. The board
agreed.
Mrs.
Nuspl made a motion to approve the changing of the color of the building to a
white in light of the situation.
With a notation that the board preferred the buildings in the ARB
district not be white. Mr. Draughn
seconded the motion.

COMMENTS BY INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS:
Mrs.
Nuspl stated she received a letter from Mr. Tom McCarthy thanking the board for
the approval of the variance for his sign.
Mrs.
McCoy informed the board that Unique Boutique took down the illegal signs she
had displayed in her window. She
also stated she sent a letter to the cash advance business on

Nuspl made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Draughn seconded the motion.
