APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

The minutes from the meeting of February 16, 2005 were approved with the following change:

Bottom of Page Two:  add “height” to sentence “Should be 24”)

NEW BUSINESS

·        Landscape PlanHenderson House – N. Oak Street

Mrs. McCoy stated Barry Adler sent an e-mail stating his concern of the variety of Juniper being proposed; it can reach a height of 12’ by 15’ wide.  Feels they may want a more compact form in a parking lot setting.  The White Pines may also overgrow the property line in a few years which would be okay as long as the resident in the existing house on the east side does not mind.  Not sure if this house is part of the property being reviewed or if there is also a need to screen the handicapped parking spaces from that house.  Members concurred.  Mrs. Page stated she would change to “Mission Juniper” or “Arborvitaes”, add another five and plant 4’-5’ on center.

Also agreed buffering required along west side of existing house – 62’ in length.  Buffer with same type 4’ on center.

Crabapples should be pulled back away from sidewalk.

Mr. Morse made a motion to approve the landscape plan with the above changes to be made.  Seconded by Mrs. Bushong.  Voice vote was unanimous.  Street tree plan for the Henderson House to be revised and resubmitted to Shade Tree Commission for final approval.

·        Revised Landscape Plan – G-Zero Properties – S. Main Street/W. 8th Street
