Revised
Landscape Plan - Nelson Lamborghini Dealership – Watkins
Road- filed by Greg Nelson
Discussion was
held concerning the type of tree that was discussed at the June meeting for the
interior vehicular use areas. Commission members concurred the Japanese Silk Lilacs and not the honey locust
would be more appropriate – they would work better in keeping birds away. It was determined that 9 fruitless
flowering crabapples, such as coral burst, and 12 Ivory Silk Lilacs for the
interior trees would be appropriate.
It was noted Ivory Silk Lilacs are ok for all trees for the interior –
do not use fruit bearing crabapples. Landscape plan to be
revised and resubmitted for approval.
OTHER:
Discussion held concerning
policy for accepting trees planted on property, away from vehicular use areas,
and if accepts the trees, how far from the vehicular use area would be ok. Decision to be made later.
ADJOURNMENT:
