Gary Johnson

Gary Johnson is the Chief and a 31-year veteran of the Marysville Fire Department, serving as Assistant Chief from 1987-2000.  He holds a Bachelors and a Masters in Business Administration, is a Chief Fire Officer (CFO) designee, serves as a CFOD peer reviewer, and a member of the Institution of Fire Engineers (MIFireE).  He has held numerous instructor certifications, lecturing on a variety of fire/EMS topics.  A former flight paramedic and a third generation firefighter, he also serves as adjunct faculty in the Public Safety and Business Management programs for Franklin University and has been actively involved in curriculum development for both programs.
