Join the Stingrays Swim Team!

The City of Marysville Division of Parks & Recreation sponsors a summer recreational swim team for children up to 18 years of age.  The swim team is called the "Stingrays".  Participation is open to both resident and non-resident youngsters.  This program is designed to be a fun learning experience for swimmers of all ability levels and includes daily practices with competitive meets during the season.  The only requirements for participation are the ability to swim 25 meters and the completion of all paperwork with accompanying fees paid prior to beginning practice.

Practices are normally held at the Municipal Pool.  Meets are normally held on Wednesday evenings and/or Saturday mornings both at the Municipal Pool as well as several pools in the greater Columbus area.

Summer swim team will have sign-ups during normal pool hours beginning May 24th.  More detailed information regarding the swim team will be available to families at that time.

The first practice will be June 2nd.  The first practice week will be in the evenings on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.  No practice on Thursday, June 5th.  The following week practices are on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday evenings from 5pm-6:30pm for ages 11 and up; 6:30pm-7:45pm for ages 10 and under and in the mornings on Wednesday & Thursday from 9am-10:30pm for ages 11 and up; 10:30am-11:45am for ages 10 and under.

All paperwork must be turned in and fees must be paid prior to beginning practice.  Cost is $50.00 per child with season pool pass and $65.00 per child without a season pass.
