PERSONNEL & SERVICES

The Personnel & Services Department was created January 1, 2003.  Under the acting department director, Brian Dostanko, this department is tasked with providing services including human resource management, information technology, records program administration, risk management, and management of the City's safety program.

  • Improve Management/Employee Relations
  • Promote Employee Wellness Program (to reduce absenteeism and medical costs for both employees and management)
  • Reduce City HR/Employee Management Costs
  • Ensure All Human Resources' Processes are Running as Efficiently and Effectively as Possible
  • Improve Human Resources Personal Professional Capabilities/Abilities Through Training and Certification Programs
Information Management/Information Technology
  • Establish Connectivity for Satellite Locations
  • Enhance and Improve External Website
  • Improve Network/Server Performance
  • Improve Efficiency of Safety Services
  • Improve Storage and Retrievability of Archived Records
City Safety Program
  • Eliminate or Reduce Hazards in the Work Place
  • Ensure 100% Safety Training Completion/Compliance for All Employees
  • Ensure City Compliance with OSHA Standards
  • Lower City Injury Costs (via BWC and PEP)
