The Marysville Division of Police participates in a national program known as "Project Child Safe", a firearms safety educations program that provides FREE gunlocks to residents.  The program is funded by a U.S. Department of Justice Grant, with additional funding provided by the firearms industry.

Residents of Marysville are encouraged to pick up a gun lock anytime at the Police Division located at 125 E. Sixth Street.  Police officers also encourage parents to have their children complete a firearms safety contract to promote firearms safety in the community.  Click Here to access more information.
