The Marysville
Division of Police routinely receives complaints of high speeds
in various locations throughout the City. In an attempt to
better respond to these types of complaints, the division works
closely with the city engineer's office in placing monitoring
devices to accurately record traffic data. This data is
then reviewed to disclose actual problem locations and better
utilize resources. If you feel your street or area is
experiencing a high rate of speeds or other traffic violations,
please email or call the police division. Check below for
the most recent survey information.
Note: When viewing the
summary report, the 50th percentile means that 50% of the
vehicles were traveling at that speed or less; 85th percentile
means that 85% of the vehicles were traveling at that speed or
less. The maximum speed is the highest speed recorded from
a vehicle during the survey. The posted speed is the speed
limit posted for that area. The ten mile pace is the ten
mile speed range with the highest number of vehicles recorded. |
