Information
Service Work -
Anyone requiring service work should contact the Utility
Office at (937) 642-6861 at least 24 hours in advance to
schedule the work.
Repair Inspections -
Anyone having repairs made underground between the curb box
and the meter inside the house is required to have the City
inspect the work upon completion and before the ditch is
backfilled. There is an inspection fee of $50.00.
Any work done inside the house does not require an inspection.
City personnel only
can operate curb stops, meter pits, main line valves and fire
hydrants unless the water superintendent has otherwise granted
permission.
Anyone that sees a
contractor, plumber, or anyone other than City personnel
operating curb stops, valves or fire hydrants is asked to please
call the Public Service Center at (937) 642-0116 or the Division
of Police at (937) 642-3900.
Who do I call for...
Water Leaks - The homeowner is responsible for
the water line from the curb box to the house as well as
anything inside the house. The City of Marysville is
responsible for water leaks from the curb box (shut-off valve
located near the sidewalk) to the water main and all of the
water mains. Please report leaks to the Utility Office
at (937) 642-6861 Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm or
after hours to the Water Treatment Plant at (937) 644-9115.
Discolored or Foul Tasting Water - Contact the
Water Treatment Plant at (937) 644-9115.
Low Pressure - Low pressure can be caused by a
variety of things. Please contact the Utility Office
at (937) 642-6861.
After Hours Emergencies - Contact the Water
Treatment Plant at (937) 644-9115.
High Water Bill - Contact the Utility
Office at (937) 642-6861.
