The Marysville Division of Police, valuing its role as a community partner, offers a variety of resources related to crime prevention and education to residents, visitors, and businesses in the Marysville area:

Business Contacts
The division maintains a list of emergency numbers for contacting business caretakers after normal business hours. To assist us in providing the best possible services, all businesses are encouraged to submit the Business Contacts Form annually to the Marysville Division of Police.

Child Safety Seat Inspection
The Marysville Division of Police encourages the proper use of child safety seats and all passenger restraint devices. Residents wishing to have a seat inspected for proper installation may schedule an appointment by contacting the Marysville Division of Police at (937) 645-7300 or the Union County Health Department at (937) 642-0801. For more information about child safety seats, visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

D.A.R.E.
The Marysville Division of Police has been conducting the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program in the Marysville Exempted School District since the fall 1990. The D.A.R.E. program is presented to fifth and seventh-grade students by specially trained police officers. The current D.A.R.E. officer is Officer Josh Dillahunt. For more information, contact Officer Dillahunt at (937) 645-7300.

The Marysville Division of Police participates in the Protect ChildSafe, a national firearms safety education program that provides free gunlocks to residents. A U.S. Department of Justice grant funds the program with additional funding provided by the firearms industry. Residents of Marysville needing a lock are encouraged to pick one up at the Police Division located at 1250 West Fifth Street.
