About the Department
The Public Service Department provides general services that enhance the quality of life, safety, and health of the residents and customers of the City of Marysville. The department is comprised of the following divisions:

Responsibilities

About Public Service Director Michael Andrako

Mike Andrako has served as the Marysville Public Service Director since October 2013.  The City's Public Service Department includes the divisions of Streets, Planning & Zoning, Engineering, Water, Wastewater, Parks & Grounds and Facilities. Prior to working for the City of Marysville, he spent ten years working for the City of Gahanna holding various positions within their Public Service Department, spending the last two years as Deputy Director of Public Service. 

Mike graduated from The Ohio State University in 2004, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer for the State of Ohio.

About City Engineer/Deputy Public Service Director Jeremy Hoyt
Jeremy Hoyt was appointed by the City of Marysville in 2009 to serve as the Assistant City Engineer and has fulfilled the role as City Engineer since late 2013.  Prior to joining the City, he was employed as a consultant responsible for designing residential and commercial subdivisions (primarily in Delaware County) while also performing various engineering projects for municipal clients throughout the State.

Jeremy is a graduate of Ohio Northern University, where he also played baseball.  He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer for the State of Ohio.
