Public Records are documents in paper or electronic form, kept by the City and that relate to the business or activity of the City. Public record inquiries should be directed to one of the City's Records Custodians listed in the Staff Directory under Public Records.
City records are available for inspection during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, except during published holidays. If records are readily available, they will be presented promptly. If the records are not readily available or require review, the requester will receive a written response and/or the records within a reasonable period of time. Copies of city records are available within a reasonable period of time, taking into account the volume of records requested, where the records are maintained and the necessity for any legal review.
There is no charge for inspection of city records or records sent electronically. Costs for copies of records are listed below. If copies are to be sent via U.S. mail, the payment of postage, mailing supplies and the requested records is required in advance.
