City Law Director Tim Aslaner
Elected City Law Director since 2000, he is responsible for prosecuting misdemeanors occurring in the City as well as representing and offering legal advice to City administration, City Council, all City boards and commissions, and all employees acting in the capacity of their City employment.
Formerly in private practice in Marysville from 1998 to 2013 as a partner with Coleman, Eufinger & Aslaner, he practiced in the areas of personal injury, domestic relations, real estate, and general civil practice.
Between 1995 and 1998, he served as an associate with Harris, Guidi, Rosner and Dunlap in Jacksonville, Florida, practicing primarily in the areas of criminal defense and workers compensation.
He served as an Assistant State Attorney for the 12th Judicial Circuit of Florida in Jacksonville from 1991 to 1995, prosecuting misdemeanors and felonies, including repeat offender violent felons. He was in charge of a federally funded auto theft division from 1994 to 1995.
Tim received a Bachelor's Degree from The College of William and Mary in 1987 and his Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1990. He is a member of both the Ohio and Florida Bar.
