City Income Tax Update

Image of Deadline Extended in text on notepad

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City is following the State's mandate to defer individual income tax filing and payment due for this filing normally due April 15, 2021, to May 17, 2021, without additional penalties or interest.

However, according to the mandate, first-quarter estimated tax payments are still due April 15, 2021. The incurred penalties and interest applied to all payments due January 15, 2021,and before will not be waived. Therefore, this deferral allows individual taxpayers until May 17, 2021, to file and pay their individual tax and applicable penalties and interest balance reported on the 2020 return only.

Payments can be made online, by mail, the dropbox (located behind City Hall), or by phone.
